Marjorie Greene’s Democratic Opponent Out-Raised Her. Unfortunately, it Doesn’t Matter.

The money’s not everything, and here’s why.

For anyone who considers themselves even remotely on the left, there’s absolutely no denying that the Republican party is evolving into something scary. The brazen authoritarianism coupled with a near complete disregard for anything like science or data that might go against their narrative has painted a clear and disturbing picture of where the party currently is and in the future as well. Of course, there’s a natural urge for liberals and those on the left to want to do what they can in order to stop the rise of some of the most outrageous figures in the party. It should come as no surprise then, that GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Greene will have a Democratic challenger in the upcoming midterm elections.

In fact, that challenger has raised millions.

Back in August, Geoffrey Skelley with Fivethirtyeight wrote:
