Liz Cheney Still isn’t a Friend.
I‘m begging liberals to remember this.
Distraction, distraction, distraction.
Regardless of political affiliation, lawmakers certainly love to talk about it don’t they? In recent days, we’ve been hearing it a lot. As the January 6th committee hearings take place, we’ve heard right wing media call it a ‘hail Mary distraction’ from issues like inflation, baby formula shortages, and gas prices. Meanwhile, Democrats like former senator Claire McCaskill on MSNBC aren’t much better, having the nerve to call talk of these issues a distraction from January 6th hearings.
The thing is, both of these issues are obviously important.
To simply brush off and dismiss concerns of the fact that Americans are struggling even more than they were just a year ago to simply afford to survive is frankly disgusting, and shows just how far the Democratic Party has fallen. But, at the same time it is important that we hear and understand just how the insurrection on January 6th came to fruition, how those around the former President and the former President himself responded to it, but arguably even more importantly their efforts to overturn the results of the election via state level electors. But in the midst of all the noise, as we look ahead I can’t help wanting to offer a note of caution about something…
