Like Joe Manchin, Arizona Rep. Kyrsten Sinema is Also Upset With Kamala Harris.
And it’s also because of her stance on fighting for abortion rights.
While West Virginia’s Senator Joe Manchin is certainly up there with politicians I despise, considering he has now switched his Party affiliation to Independent I suppose I would have to say Arizona’s Kyrsten Sinema has tied with him when it comes to supposedly left leaning politicians specifically that I dislike.
I mean, at least with Joe Manchin we all knew what we were getting, right? A conservative coal baron who made it clear from the beginning he valued himself and his own interests above the people of the state he represents and the country overall. Kyrsten Sinema though…it feels as though every time she makes a headline I’m reminded of the fact that she used to be Green Party, and how much has changed since then.
Today is no different.
In response to Kamala Harris supporting the idea of getting rid of the filibuster in order to ensure abortion rights, Sinema took to Twitter to write:
