Well, here we are.

The scope of what’s to come following this past election is beginning to take shape, and I’ve reached the point where I’m beyond simply acknowledging the magnitude of Trump’s reelection, and thinking about the Senate as well.

He can’t do it all on his own, can he?

It’s certainly going to help Trump that the Senate has now flipped to the Republican Party at a minimum for the next two years, and we get to watch them methodically put the right wing agenda in to action.

Here’s the thing…we’re going to watch them pass legislation without the 60 votes the Democrats would ring their hands and insist they needed in order to do anything. Once again, another stark difference between the two parties an their ability to be successful. Another reminder of what money in politics has done to the Democratic Party, and their willingness to do anything that the base or the left overall wants them to do.

The right wing does not care.

They’re not in office to play those games. If they have the votes they have the votes, and they will do what they want.
