There’s a lot of things to worry about when it comes to the next administration of President-elect Donald Trump. It’s already enough that we’ve seen his track record in the past. We know he will go to his grave still angry and embittered over the 2020 election, and has already begun to surround himself with more yes men than he had in his previous tenure as a result. Perhaps no one in congress was more outspoken and bombastic in her support of Donald Trump than Georgia lawmaker Marjorie Greene, and it should come as no surprise that Trump rewarded her loyalty.

Greene is going to be the head of the House subcommittee tied to Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency. Naturally, given her increasing power and status within the Republican Party, it feels like a good idea to examine her vision for this new role and what she expects DOGE to do.

Peter Wade with Rolling Stone writes:

“…In a Sunday interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo, Greene said America has been “really spoiled for a long time,” calling the federal government “one of the worst abusers of American’s tax dollars and the American people’s trust.”
