Like it or not, FOX News’ Tucker Carlson is one of the most powerful people in the country.

Sure, he might not be sitting in an office in the halls of the Senate or casting a vote on critical legislation. But I’m not sure how anyone can survey the events of recent years and not come away acknowledging that media is arguably the most pivotal force in the country. Whether it’s the influence of legislation or just the political discourse in general, it’s literally impossible to overstate the impact that right wing media in particular has had on both the base and lawmakers alike.

At the top, of course, is Tucker Carlson, and we’ve all taken note of his role in the rise of Donald Trump.

But how does he really feel about him?

Well, thanks to recent lawsuits and court filings following the role of FOX News in the January 6th insurrection, we now know.

Sebastian Murdock with Yahoo News writes:

“…Fox News host Tucker Carlson called then-President Donald Trump “a demonic force” and “a destroyer” in a text to his producer after thousands of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
