Let’s Talk About a Potential Biden Alternative.

It might be worth considering other options.

It might just be me, but it doesn’t feel as though Joe Biden is taking his re-election campaign even remotely seriously. He’s done virtually no campaigning, and his approval rating or more specifically the lack thereof makes the entire strategy of just sitting back and letting it play out absolutely bizarre. Of course, it’s most likely just wishful thinking on my part but I can’t help wondering whether Biden and his family in particular might be having second thoughts about going through another long, grueling election season. This time, with the duties and responsibilities of the Presidency on top of it.

But, maybe it’s worth discussing a potential and realistic alternative.

What about Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer?

I don’t think there’s a single democrat in the country who’s actually even remotely on the left who wouldn’t prefer her over Joe Biden for a wide variety of reasons. She’s just a far more appealing politician overall who has done some legitimately good things in a very purple state, and might actually be able to bridge the gap between the left and the more conservative, traditional liberals.
