Let’s Not Pretend Joe Biden is a Pinnacle of Empathy.
I know the Trump years were bad, but give me a break.
While Biden offered little in terms of policy when running for President, those who urgently insisted that the public most vote for him often pointed to his desire to unite, heal, and of course, his empathy. With the media and liberal voters in particular, that sentiment certainly has not gone away. Following the first few weeks as President of the United States, Joe Biden addressed the nation and took questions during a town hall on CNN. Of course in commenting on his performance, CNN declared that Biden’s empathy had taken “center stage” during the event.
Considering the fact that they declared his empathy took center stage in the midst of the same event where he vehemently declared he was not going to use his constitutional authority to cancel even $50,000 in student loan debt, I and I’m sure countless others are tired of pretending Joe Biden is something that he’s not.
In regards to Biden and his supposed “empathy” — for all those in positions of power — words mean nothing. It’s the actions, political strategy, and policy implementation that matter, and overall Joe Biden’s have been lackluster to say the least. After not even a month in office, Joe Biden has already broken his promise to deliver $2000 checks…
