The Colorado congresswoman tries so hard to sound smart.

For those of us who follow politics, I think most would come to the easy consensus that Lauren Boebert is far from the sharpest tool in the shed. While Marjorie Greene or Louie Gohmert might be hard to top in this regard, Lauren Boebert certainly wears the lack of curiousity, growth, or knowledge on her sleeve like a badge of honor. Her ability to string together a narrative the right wing would like to hear is second to none, and she went ahead and did it again on a recent podcast. This time, of course, discussing what she essentially perceives as the “demonization” of men.

On a clip grabbed from Patriot Takes on Twitter, Boebert is filmed saying:

“Men have been demonized. …it’s only ok to be a man now if you identify as a women.”

Oh, there’s nothing the right wing loves more than this, is there?

Not only does she feed into their perpetual state of victimhood in arguing that straight men — and obviously we know she means white men in particular — are demonized, she decides to take a dig at the transgender community as well, because why not, right? Why not take whatever opportunity you can…
