In the state of Ohio, a ten year old little girl was raped.

Following the overturning of Roe vs Wade, an anti-abortion law banning abortion past six weeks went into affect. Six weeks and three days after this little girl was raped, she was sitting in a doctors office as he called a colleague in Indiana who might be able to help. The little girl travelled to Indiana where, in a matter of weeks, that wouldn’t be an option for her either.

Indiana’s about to restrict their abortion access as well.

This is just the immediate affect of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. This is what happens when our rights to bodily autonomy are stripped away from us, and a uterus becomes the property of the state.

But of course, it’s not just affecting victims and survivors of rape and incest. Across the country there are women fresh out of college and just beginning their career, panicking because they just found out they’re pregnant and vastly unprepared to have a child.
