If Kyrsten Sinema deserves credit for anything, at least she’s not particularly shy about letting the American people know the truth about what a nightmare she is, and will continue to be for whatever remains of her career in the Senate. Whether it be her repulsive display of theatrics as she gleefully voted down a raise for the lowest income workers who haven’t seen a raise since 2009, or her opposition to any filibuster reform whatsoever, Sinema has been all too willing to position herself as the obstacle to almost literally every single progressive priority.

Well, considering what her tenure in the Senate has consisted of thus far, it should come as no surprise that Kyrsten Sinema has been more than happy to kill the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill. AZ Central cited her written statement, in which Sinema said:

“…I have also made clear that while I will support beginning this process, I do not support a bill that costs $3.5 trillion — and in the coming months, I will work in good faith to develop this legislation with my colleagues and the administration to strengthen Arizona’s economy and help Arizona’s everyday families get ahead.”
