Kamala Harris is Cozying Up to Big Business.
And none of us should be surprised.
In the age of what feels like infinite money in politics where the dollar rules all and our elections get sold to the highest bidder, it feels as though there’s nothing corporate Democrats love to do more than line their campaign pockets. We’ve seen a political landscape where they see it as the easiest route to keeping up with the right wing, and it’s the American people who suffer for it.
Kamala Harris is no different.
I suppose I should start by acknowledging that we have to give credit where it is due. Kamala Harris breathed life into a dead Democratic campaign, and made an excellent decision in the selection of Tim Walz as her running mate to help sustain her momentum.
But it feels as though the magic is wearing off, like Democrats have eased off of the gas pedal with too small of a lead to do so. And of course, Kamala Harris hasn’t been shy about cozying up to big business.
