Just Ahead of Midterms, Biden’s Hiking Medicare Premium Costs.

These cowards are trying to lose.

Since Joe Biden took office and Democrats took control of the House and Senate, their clear refusal to do absolutely nothing has become as painful as it is frustrating. I’m not sure there is a single campaign promise, at least of real substantive consequence, that they have kept. No voting rights legislation, $15 minimum permanent child tax credit, universal pre-k, climate change legislation, public healthcare plan, or cancellation of student loan debt. Their pathetic, cowardly excuses range from the Senate parliamentarian to their own fellow Democrats like Manchin and Sinema.

How can we not be disgusted?

At times, it literally feels as though they are actively trying to lose, and we can only conclude that they are more interested in fundraising than actually accomplishing anything legislatively. After all, it’s all about pleasing their donors, isn’t it? Well, recent reports indicate that — as if Democrats weren’t going to be losing midterms in a historic fashion already — Biden has decided that he’s going to do what he can to make that inevitable.
