Joe Biden Really Did Just Completely Disappear Off the Face of the Earth, Didn’t He?

It feels like it was worse than they led us to believe with the former President.

Don’t get me wrong, I think all of us sort of expected that the second Donald Trump administration, particularly in the beginning when the momentum is so strong on their side, was going to be an absolute whirlwind. Donald Trump has always been about the spectacle, the shock and awe, and doing his best to portray himself as some sort of alpha who won’t rest until he gets his way.

All that being said, I’m not sure we could have anticipated things getting to this extent so early on. It’s been absolutely brutal, and it’s genuinely difficult to even know where to begin with it all.

And if we’re being honest, everything that has happened makes the radio silence from Joe Biden even more deafening and telling.

He really did disappear off the face of the earth, didn’t he? Has he made a public appearance? Has he made a public statement of any kind? Has he been up to anything at all? Given everything that’s going on one might have wondered at least if he was going to be at least a little bit visible and vocal with the public.

But, that has not been the case.

To be clear, I understand a President wanting to take a step back when their tenure is done. But given how adament he was that he could still keep going, and was healthy enough to run for and complete a second term, I find it interesting to say the least that it’s been essentially radio silence ever since he left office from Joe Biden. We’ve heard from his wife a time or two, but nothing meaningful whatsoever from the former President that I can recall.

It might be just me, but I don’t think it is, that finds that interesting.

I think it’s been worse than they ever let on. I do think the concerns with his cognition were very real, and I don’t think we’ll know the extent of that for some time. It just makes everything so much more infuriating to be honest. It never should have gotten to this point, and it’s the fault of the Biden administration and many higher ups within the Democratic Party that it did.

We’re in this position because of them, and the narrative should never be twisted otherwise. They failed the American people by allowing him to run again, and for letting his exit drag on as long as it did. I’ll be interested to see if Biden ever really shows his face in public again, and if he does where it will be and what will happen. Nevertheless, it feels like we weere gaslit into thinking everything was fine when it clearly is not.
