Joe Biden and Donald Trump Are Tied in the Polls.
Four indictments haven’t changed a thing.
As much as the American people were hoping it would not be the case, it’s looking as though the upcoming election is going to be a rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. It’s truly a testament to just how sorry the state of American politics continues to be, but nevertheless here we are. As we could probably have predicted given how rabid the Republican base has become, the four indictments Trump is currently facing have had absolutely no impact on Trump’s polling.
In fact, he and Joe Biden are currently tied in the polling.
Lauren Sforza with The Hill writes:
“President Biden and former President Trump, the front-runners in their parties’ respective 2024 primaries, are virtually tied in a hypothetical match-up, according to a poll.
The Quinnipiac University poll, released Wednesday, found that 47 percent of respondents would support Biden and 46 percent would support Trump in a hypothetical general election match-up between the two. Biden has a slight edge with independent voters, with 45 percent saying they would support him and 41 percent saying they would support Trump…”
