Jack Smith, the Special Counsel for Trump’s Legal Cases, Has Officially Resigned.

Let’s talk about what this means.

Well, as we get closer to the date when President-elect Donald Trump will officially be sworn in as President once again, the reminders that the date is approaching continue to ramp up. We’re having Republicans like Marjorie Greene and Lauren Boebert prancing around with their silly legislation that they’re pretending and convincing their base has a chance, and then of course we have Donald Trump himself. Need anyone be reminded of the fact that he’s currently focused on attempting to force Denmark to sell the territory of Greenland, and wants the Panama Canal as well?

But there have been other signs of what’s to come, like special counsel Jack Smith’s resignation.

“U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith, who led the federal cases against Donald Trump on charges of trying to overturn his 2020 election defeat and mishandling of classified documents, has resigned, as the Republican president-elect prepared to return to the White House.

Smith resigned on Friday from the Department of Justice, according to a court filing on Saturday to U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, asking her to lift a court order she issued blocking release of his final…
