It Looks Like McConnell is Already Conceding the Senate in 2022.

It’s not looking like there will be a red wave anymore.

It wasn’t long ago that a red wave for the 2022 midterms was looking not just likely, but almost inevitable. With inflation, record high gas prices, and Joe Biden’s inability and unwillingness to keep the campaign promises that got him elected in the first place, it was no surprise that the polling was weighing heavily in the GOP’s favor.

Well, as many have already seen, that polling lead has absolutely begun to shift.

Tristan Snell on Twitter writes:

“First John Fetterman pulled out to a big lead. Then Raphael Warnock and Tim Ryan took leads in their races. Then Mandela Barnes and Val Demings pulled ahead. And now Cheri Beasley is in a tie in North Carolina. So tell me again how Republicans are going to sweep the midterms?”

Of course, it’s not just those of us on the outside looking in who have taken notice. None other than Senate powerhouse Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has acknowledged it as well. In fact, he’s already weighed in and all but…
