Is the Joe Biden Impeachment Coming to an End?

It sure looks that way.

Say what you will about Joe Biden, and I certainly have, but there’s no denying that the man has had a lot on his plate lately.

Not only is he over 80 years old and President of the United States, but Biden’s also running for reelection in one of the most pivotal elections in modern history. Oh, and as we all know, he’s dealing with an impeachment inquiry on top of it. An impeachment inquiry that stems from his son’s legal troubles and the Republican Party’s insistence that he somehow had something to do it.

But, much to the dismay of the Republican Party and those behind these fruitless efforts, it feels as though the impeachment hullaballoo might be coming to an end.

Tatyana Tandanpolie with Yahoo News writes:

“The impeachment inquiry House Republicans launched into President Joe Biden may not end with an impeachment vote, House Oversight Chair James Comer, R-Ky., admitted in a recent interview with Spectrum News.

Speaking to the news source last week, Comer indicated that the House holding a vote is decreasingly likely because the “math keeps getting worse” for the GOP, a statement reflecting Republican’s narrowing majority and internal skepticism about the merits of the investigation, Mediaite reports.

Comer’s probe — which is examining allegations that Biden accepted bribes, laundered money and peddled influence in connection to his son’s overseas business activities — has yet to yield any substantial evidence of the president committing any wrongdoing, which some Republican representatives have admitted. How the Democrat-controlled Senate addresses the recent impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas will be an indication of how their inquiry will go, Comer told Spectrum…”

Well…if we’re being honest with ourselves, are any of us surprised?

From the very beginning, I’ll be the first to admit I don’t think I ever took this impeachment inquiry seriously. There never felt like there was any reason to. While I have no love at all for Joe Biden and it pains me that this is what the Democratic Party currently has to offer the American people, it’s been obvious since the start of this inquiry that it was never going to go anywhere.

I mean, what’s a few million in American’s hard earned tax payer dollars wasted, right?

At least the Republicans got to get those dirty Democrats back for impeaching Trump twice, and make the statement for their base. That’s all this has ever been about, and you’d be hard pressed to find a right winger who could honestly deny it. Now, things are winding down, they’ve made their fuss, and it looks as though they’ll be turning back with their tails between their legs.
