Is Sen. Joe Manchin Running For West Virginia Governor?

Well, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin’s career in the Senate is coming to an end. Goodbye, and good riddance. It’s felt as though from the very beginning of it all he has wanted nothing more than to flex his power in the worst way possible, standing in staunch opposition to anything the left might want and being the proud poster boy for his cause as well. The perfect excuse to not get anything done, right?

Well, with us being close to halfway through the year it’s at least nice to know his time in the Senate acting as de facto President will be done soon.

But, what’s next for him?

“Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) has about a week left to decide his political future as he comes under mounting pressure to consider a gubernatorial bid against his past rival, West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey (R).
