Is Biden Actually Re-Electable?

The numbers don’t look good.

With Joe Biden running for reelection and the nation once again inching closer to campaign season, I’m sure I’m not alone in taking more notice of polls. Considering we’re primed for another rematch between Biden and Trump, it’s been interesting to see what the numbers look like following the aftermath of 2020 and Biden now in his third year as President.

Well, lets see what some of the latest polling tells us…

PollTrackerUSA on Twitter shared polling from Washington Post with ABC, writing:

2024 National General Election Poll:

Trump 45% (+6) Biden 39% .

DeSantis 44% (+6) Biden 38%

Obviously, there are some caveats when looking at this information. We all know a lot can happen between now and the next general election or even the next Republican Primary election for that matter. It also seems incredibly unlikely that even if Trump or DeSantis were to beat Joe Biden, I would be absolutely shocked if it was by as many as six points. One or two, sure. But six? It’s almost inconceivable that undecided voters and independents would swing enough in either direction to have the election decided by that wide of a margin.
