In His Latest Sickening Rant, Tucker Carlson Brought up George Floyd.
The FOX News host has absolutely no shame.
I’m not sure there’s anyone among the right wing pundit class more easy to despise than Tucker Carlson, and it has become increasingly clear that he absolutely relishes it. With each passing year, almost each passing week it seems, he continues to push the boundaries and this time, he decided to bring George Floyd into it.
On primetime television in the midst of the typical racist tirades we’ve come to expect from right wing media, Carlson said:
“Very few unarmed Black men are killed by cops these days. Where’s George Floyd when you need him?”
“Where’s George Floyd when you need him?”
It’s genuinely difficult to even know where to begin.
Make no mistake, Tucker Carlson is mocking his death. He’s mocking the fact that this man has his neck knelt on for nine minutes and begged for his life. He’s mocking the fact that this man is gone, robbed of a future where he gets to watch his daughter grow up. He’s mocking the raw pain people felt in the aftermath. The pain of his loved ones, and people all across the country. He’s acting as though his murder never meant anything…
