If Not Biden, Who?

The donor class certainly doesn’t want Marianne Williamson.

Personally, I genuinely like Marianne Williamson. As it currently stands today with the Democratic Primary leading into 2024, she would certainly earn my vote over President Joe Biden, who has said he intends on running again. But obviously, anything can happen and I find myself wondering who the donor class and Democratic Party elite would prefer to run in Biden’s face if for whatever reason his plans changed.

Obviously, for a while it seemed as though Kamala Harris was being positioned to become the next face of the corporate wing of the Democratic Party. She was the one who the Party was going to elevate, and prepare to make another run for President. And then we have Buttigieg, who was literally elevated from Mayor of a small town in Indiana to Secretary of Transportation because he dropped out of the 2020 race and endorsed Joe Biden.

The fact that he tries almost pathetically hard to emulate Barack Obama’s speaking style didn’t hurt him in their eyes, either.

But, suffice it to say that neither of these two have done anything to help themselves over the past couple of years, have they? Whether it be Buttigieg’s highly publicized and terrible handling of the Norfolk Southern train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, or the fact that…
