I Think the GOP Wanted Hunter Biden to be Found Not Guilty.
And here’s why.
As I’m sure most of us have heard by now, President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has officially been found guilty of charges related to purchasing a gun while addicted to drugs. The way I see it, no one should be above the law and he deserves to be held accountable just like anyone else would be. Democrats and those of us on the left shouldn’t be shocked, or upset with these findings. It was to be expected, and the evidence was there.
Having said that, I can’t help feeling as though the sentiment might be a little bit different for another group…
Maybe it’s just me, but does anyone else get the sense that the right wing — or at least those in positions of power, or working for those in a position of power — might have actually been hoping that Hunter Biden would be found not guilty?
Think about it…
Think about the material they could have ran with. Think about the headlines, the fundraising emails, the soundbites for the media they could have prepared. It all would have been absolute gold for them, and just another tool at their disposal to do what they do best: manufacture and sustain right wing rage. They love it. They thrive off of it.
