I Need to Rant About That Caitlin Clark Press Conference.

What happened to her was completely inappropriate.

If you own a television you are familiar with the name and face of Caitlin Clark and for good reason. She is one of the greatest players college basketball has ever seen, and at just 22 has left a lasting legacy on the game she grew up loving. It certainly wasn’t a surprise to anyone who has watched her over the past year or two that she was drafted number one overall to the Indiana Fever earlier this week.

Well, lets just say her first press conference with the team went off to a very weird, awkward and uncomfortable start.

Greg Doyel with The Indianapolis Star held up his hands in the shape of a heart to her, and the conversation went as follows:

Caitlin Clark: “You like that?”

Doyel: “I like that you’re here.”

Caitlin: “Yeah, I do that at my family after every game.”

Doyel: “Start doing it to me and we’ll get along just fine.”

You don’t even need to hear the audio to see how bad it was.
