Herschel Walker, Georgia’s GOP Senate Candidate, Shared Some Thoughts on Climate Change.
And it went about exactly as you would expect.
For those of us who have been taking note of national politics and electoral races across the country leading into the midterms, it should go without saying that GOP Senate candidate Herschel Walker isn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. One would hope, at least, when one is running for politics particularly at the national stage, they would have some idea of how to talk about issues like climate change in a way that at least appears as though they have something meaningful to contribute to the conversation. Ideas for change, data to support what they’re saying, experts to site…anything.
Unfortunately, Walker’s got none of that but of course, he decided to weigh in anyways.
At an event put on by the Hall County Republican Party in Georgia, Walker decided to discuss the Green New Deal and Climate change, saying:
