Has the GOP Donor Rebellion Against Trump Begun?

They don’t want him to run again, and it looks like lawmakers have been given the ok to say so.

While some might view Donald Trump as currently irrelevant, I count myself among those who would unfortunately have to disagree. While it’s true that he currently holds no office and has had his social media presence stripped away from him, the man still manages to hold an incredible amount of sway over the Republican party and has every intention of running again in 2024 if his health permits him to. After taking notice of his current domination of the GOP in 2024 presidential polling, it appears as though things are happening behind the scenes in order to shift the dynamics against him.

In a recent article published in The Hill, Joseph Choi wrote:

Former President Trump blasted Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) on Monday after the senator said in an interview he would not vote for the real estate mogul if he ran for president again in 2024.

Cassidy during an interview that aired Sunday on “Axios on HBO” said that he did not believe Trump would be the GOP presidential nominee again.
