Governor Greg Abbott Didn’t Attend a Single Funeral For the Victims of the Uvalde School Shooting.
He’s a coward. An absolute coward.
It seems inconceivable that literally every single detail we learn about the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas couldn’t be worse than the last, but they have been.
Details continued to be etched into my mind. I can’t read or watch another story about the slaughter that took place that day without picturing the shooters walk. He was so calm when he walked into the building. So nonchalant as he slowly made his way down the hall, stopping to look at something on the wall and even flip his hair out of his eyes. He walked as though he was on his way to class. Just another day, as though he wasn’t about to slaughter nineteen children and their teachers and rip apart their families forever.
Angel Garza, of course, is one of the first people to come to mind when hearing more stories out of Uvalde, Texas. He was working as a med aide when he arrived on scene and immediately began helping a hysterical little girl he described to Anderson Cooper as being covered head to toe in blood.
The little girl was covered in the blood of his dead daughter, Amerie, who was slaughtered while the police were in the building trying to call 911.
