If America’s dying, end stage capitalist system is the cancer, conspiracy theorist and Info Wars host Alex Jones is certainly a significant symptom. Jones is known by virtually everyone who follows politics regardless of where they might fall on the political system, and for good reason. The man has built his career by rotting the brains of the right wing masses, using them as useful tools to spread his dangerous, bizarre conspiracy theories and sell his products geared towards the isolated, angry right wing man. While the list of reasons why Alex Jones is a reprehensible human being is seemingly endless, at the top of it would certainly by what he did to the parents of the shooting victims of Sandy Hook elementary following the slaughter of their 1st graders back in 2012.

Now, thankfully, he’s paying for it.

Aaron Kartersky and Meredith Deliso with ABC News write:

“A Connecticut jury awarded nearly $1 billion in damages to 15 plaintiffs defamed by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones when the Infowars host called the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting a hoax staged by actors following a script written by the government to build support for gun control.
