Former President Obama is Encouraging Biden to Step Aside.
I certainly hope he listens.
Suffice it to say that things have really been spiraling a little bit out of control in the world of President Joe Biden, and his reelection campaign in particular. It’s just been one thing after another following the debate, and the calls for him to stop seeking reelection and pass the torch still continue to intensify following the disastrous debate, and have absolutely ramped up in recent days as he tested positive for covid and the convention approaches.
In public, the message has been stubborn to say the least, and frankly absolutely infuriating. It’s been one of the most incredible displays of blatant narcissism and overall delusion in modern politics. He has made it explicitly clear that he really doesn’t care if he loses to Trump so long as he gave it the old college try, and it’s just absolutely sickening.
But, things have begun to change.
Maybe it’s being quarantined in Delware, away from Washington with more ability to reflect, but it’s begun to circulate with the media that his tone has changed, and Pelosi has told donors she thinks he can be persuaded to step aside.
Now, Obama’s stepped in as well.
