Following the Election, Conservatives Continue to Act Like Perpetual Victims.

It genuinely never ends, and it’s gotten so old.

It’s been almost a week since the 2024 election, and obviously a lot of people are still coming to terms with the immediate aftermath, taking the time to process what lies ahead, and dealing with the weight of it all. I suppose it should come as no surprise that there are a number of people who feel as though they had to cut ties with people in their lives over the results. Specifically, those on the left and Democrats cutting ties with right wingers who they have considered friends or even family.

You can even find videos online of right wingers saying that they voted for Trump and now their families aren’t talking to them.

I happened to stumble across one on social media, where a young white woman tearfully discusses how she voted for Trump and her loved ones have cut her out of her lives, including her grandma and her mom. She finished the video by saying this was her last political post and if people wanted to unfollow her for her political views so be it, because her own family had unsubscribed from her life and it didn’t get worse than that.

Well…here’s the thing.
