Florida is Officially Covid Hell.
What does their covid crisis say about the culture overall here in the United States?
It’s hard to believe its been over a year and a half since Covid-19 began to tighten its grip on the United States, leaving hundreds of thousands dead, costing millions of jobs, and revealing every flaw and crack in the foundation of the dying American empire. Working through a two month long coronavirus outbreak in a nursing home that left twenty of my residents dead was a defining moment in my life that I will likely never forget. Of course, I’m absolutely certain that I’m not alone in finding the toll this virus has taken difficult to process. In recent weeks, the developments in the state of Florida have been particularly devastating.
In Florida, the pandemic is worse now than it has ever been before.
After pointing out that this is the worst surge the state has ever seen, Dan Levin with The New York Times reported:
