‘Evil’ does not come close to describing Senator Joe Manchin.

There really are no words to describe his greed and indifference.

Well, the writing was on the wall months ago. Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat, has effectively killed the party’s landmark reconciliation bill after it was recently reported that climate change provisions would likely be dropped because of his refusal to vote for it otherwise. The Senator is many things, but he is not unintelligent. He knows that doing so all but guarantees that the progressives in congress will say that there’s no deal, as they should. At the end of the day, all this really means is that Joe Manchin is so fundamentally corrupt and morally bankrupt, he is willing to torpedo the entire piece of legislation that is desperately wanted by the American people because it would affect his own personal financial ties to the coal industry, and his family business.
