Even the GOP Has Had Enough of DeSantis’ Homophobia.
Let’s talk about the reaction to his campaign ad.
Every political campaign has a theme. Every political campaign has an energy and clearly, Ron DeSantis has made it all obvious from the beginning leading into the 2024 election. I don’t think we could realistically count the number of times the man has said the word “woke”, unable to give it a clear definition and simply hammering in what his team has showed him is a solid buzzword for the right wing base. But of course, we’ve seen him lead into the homophobia as well. So much so that it appears as though even some among the right wing are saying he’s gone too far.
