The aftermath of the first 2024 debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump has been a little bit surreal to say the least. People have been worked up for good reason, considering Joe Biden’s performance was so bad that it was literally uncomfortable to watch. People like David Axelrod and organizations like the editorial board of The New York Times have called for him to end his campaign, and it has not stopped. Frankly, even with Joe Biden insisting he’s not budging it’s been abundantly clear that the calls for him to suspend the reelection campaign have only gotten more urgent.

Now, Representative Adam Schiff has weighed in as well.

And he’s done, too.

In watching the interview that Biden did with ABC News, the answer that for me personally stuck out the most was at the end, when he was asked how he would feel if Trump won because he stayed in the race.

Biden said:

“I’ll feel, as long as I gave it my all, and I did as good a job as I know I can do, that’s what this is about…”
