Even Now, Mike Pence Still Rises to the Defense of Trump’s Base.
The man is an absolute coward.
Following January 6th, virtually every liberal and conservative who does not count themselves among former President Trump’s base has heaped praise upon Vice President Pence for his unwillingness to bow to Trump’s will on that day. There is absolutely no denying that his life was in danger, and the President quite literally put a target on his back. A target that resulted in his supporters seeking him out as they chanted “hang Mike Pence”, and — as the January 6th committee revealed — had his secret service detail calling their families just in case.
And yet, incredibly, Pence will still come to the defense of Donald Trump’s supporters.
