Donald Trump Will Probably Win in 2024. Here’s Why.

Unless something changes quickly, I have a feeling the former President could see another four years.

I suppose I should begin by saying that there are caveats in my prediction for a Donald Trump victory in 2024. Of course, a lot depends on his health. Both he and Biden have said that their intentions to run will be determined on whether or not they are healthy enough to do so, and keep up with a rigorous campaign schedule. As for Donald Trump, he also faces differing circumstances and internal GOP dynamics that could factor into his decision to run.

Trump will only run if he thinks he will win, and other GOP leaders like Mitch McConnell who thoroughly despise him know this as well. I personally find it interesting that Mitch McConnell has made it explicitly clear he is not against the January 6th committee, is interested to see what it will bring forth, and would almost certainly love to have someone else come along to thwart his chances. There is a war between moneyed interests and the faux populists within the party, and it seems as though lawmakers like McConnell are hoping Trump’s inability to use social media could help to put a dent in some of his popularity.
