Donald Trump isn’t Looking to Unite the GOP.
That has never been the goal.
I mean, there’s not really much to say about the state of the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential primary other than, as most of us expected, it’s Donald Trump’s race to lose. Following his dominant Super Tuesday, Nikki Haley was quick to drop out. It had been expected of course, with money from the likes of people such as the Koch brothers quickly drying up. And where would be in the midst of an election cycle without the media lamenting unity, right?
This time, they’re wondering how Trump is going to unite the GOP.

Haley demonstrated in state after state that a significant minority of primary voters wanted a candidate other than Trump, and the question is whether they will accept the polarizing former president as their nominee…”
