Donald Trump is Attending the U.S. Men’s Open Tennis Final. Broadcasters Have Been Warned Not to Air Booing.

Long before he even entered the realm of politics, it was readily apparent about Donald Trump the public figure that he was very conscientious and cared deeply about-if nothing else-how he was perceived in the media coverage. He cares about optics, to the point where it has gotten undeniably comical. This week it has made headlines once again, with it now being reported that broadcasters have been cautioned not to air any boos of the President at the U.S. Open.
The Guardian reports:
“US Open broadcasters have been asked not to show any negative crowd reactions to Donald Trump at Sunday’s men’s final…
…An email sent to broadcasters by organisers reveals that the 79-year-old will be shown on screen during the singing of the national anthem ahead of the match.
The message adds: “We ask all broadcasters to refrain from showing any disruptions or reactions in response to the president’s attendance in any capacity.”…”
Since he immersed himself in politics and decided to run a decade ago, it has never ceased to amaze me…
