Did Donald Trump’s Campaign Peak Too Early?

It certainly looks like it.

Just a few weeks ago, it was sinking in that Donald Trump’s quest for reelection might just prove to be unstoppable. Quite frankly, it felt as though he was going to coast to the White House, and there was a piece of me that had already shifted focus to truly processing what a seemingly inevitable four more years of Trump would look like.

I remember watching the coverage of his assassination attempt and thinking that this had all but cemented his return to the White House.

Well, here we are and suffice it to say that a lot has changed since then.

Kamala Harris is set to be at the top of the Democratic ticket, and chose none other than Minnesota’s Governor Tim Walz to be her tunning mate. Quite frankly, watching the momentum shift that has taken place over the past few weeks has been surreal and watching Harris do well to hold on to it has admittedly been a bit of a surprise.

Having said that, I can’t help wondering that if Donald Trump’s campaign peaked too early.

It all happened quickly, didn’t it?

Obviously, Trump seized his opportunity at the debate against Joe Biden and ran with it, and was ahead in the polls even before then. But, it feels almost as though it happened…
