Diane Feinstein Forgot How to Vote.

She has no business being a Senator.

Remember when California senator Diane Feinstein was sick for months, and then just…completely forgot about it?

Looking back, it really doesn’t feel as though enough justice was done to that story. After all, how can it be talked about enough that the lawmaker representing the most populated state in the entire country with one of the world’s largest economies literally did not know she had been absent from her work? The woman is 90 years old, frailer than she has ever looked, and is undeniably cognitively unfit for office.

It gets worse though.

Feinstein has now publicly forgotten how to vote on legislation.

Brent D. Griffiths with Business Insider writes:

“Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein on Thursday appeared confused and attempted to deliver a longer speech during a Senate hearing, the latest in a string of episodes that have raised further questions about her ability to continue serving in office.

“Just say aye,” Senate Appropriations Chairwoman Patty Murray repeatedly pleaded with her colleague.

Instead of a short reply, Feinstein began her response by saying, “I would like to support a yes vote on this, it provides $823 billion ….” As the California Democrat continued to speak, an aide also intervened to try to remind the lawmaker that this was not the time for speeches.

“OK,” Feinstein then said as Murray reminded her one final time to “just say aye.” “Aye,” she finally said…”

At some point, keeping her in office has to be considered elder abuse.

There is literally no reason why her family and staff shouldn’t be doing everything they can to convince her to step down. It’s obviously not only a disservice to the people of California and the entire country in general that we’ve got someone in one of the most important offices in the land who has absolutely no idea how to even function in the position anymore, but to Diane Feinstein herself as well.

It’s virtually impossible for me to sympathize at all with Diane Feinstein given how much I despise her and the corporate rot she represents, but it’s impossible not to read…
