Despite His Public Wishes, President Donald Trump Did Not Get the Nobel Peace Prize.
Good. He never deserved it.
When President Donald Trump wants something, suffice it to say he makes it known and will ensure that those around him do what they can to help him make it happen. No matter, of course, what it might cost to them or the other consequences that could come from it with time.
Among the many things Trump has hinted at wanting was a Nobel Peace Prize. He’s mentioned it a number of times and if we’re being honest, it may have been one of the primary motivations for him to even bother pretending to care about what is happening with Palestine and Israel. He feels he has earned it, and didn’t shy away from making that known.
Well, the Nobel Peace Prize was handed out and, surprise surprise, he did not win.
Rachel Wolf with FOX News writes:
“The Nobel Committee awarded this year’s peace prize to Maria Corina Machado amid calls for President Donald Trump to receive the award in the wake of his brokering a historic deal between Israel and Hamas.
Trump has received several high-profile nominations since returning to office. However, the committee’s deadline for nominations was Jan. 31, meaning he could be eligible for next year’s prize.
