Democrats Keep Putting Voters in a Horrible Position.

And I would argue they know it, too.

It feels as though each election season seems to start sooner than the last. With pressure looming on Democrats to actually pass a meaningful piece of legislation in the coming months, there’s no denying they are feeling that pressure — at least in part — because their focus is already beginning to shift to campaign season. But as campaigns loom, I can’t help thinking about the position that Democrats continue to put their voters in, time and time again.

You wouldn’t know it by the way they act, but Democrats have control of the House, the Senate, and the White House. And yet here we are, gearing up for another election where they intentionally put voters between a rock and a hard place.

Whether it be the failure to implement a $15 minimum wage, or the needless negotiations with Republicans on an infrastructure bill that has now become nothing more than a scheme to sell off public roads and bridges to private companies, it’s safe to say Democrats’ tenure with their unilateral control has been lackluster to say the least. Time and time again, Democrats continue to show the American people that they’re hesitant to even deliver the bare minimum. What else are we supposed to think, when we’ve been waiting twelve years for a public healthcare…
