Chuck Schumer Says Biden is “More Open” to Cancelling $50k in Student Loan Debt.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
The 2020 election feels like an eternity ago. Of course, it’s difficult not to look back on it without considering all the campaign promises made by Biden and the Democratic Party that were never kept. Virtually everything Democrats claimed to stand for, whether it be making the child tax credit permanent or voting rights legislation, has been abandoned and forgotten. Now here we are, with the most loyal of Democratic voters and the pundit, consultant class simply shrugging their shoulders and insisting we shouldn’t bring up what Biden has failed to do. Polling indicates beyond a reasonable doubt that whether Democrats like it or not, voters are frustrated and unimpressed with the Biden administration and its ineffectiveness. That said, Chuck Schumer would have you believe that we shouldn’t give up. At least, not when it comes to student loan debt.
