Biden Says Cuba’s a Failed State. Are We Really in a Position to Judge?

The United States should probably look at its own problems before focusing on other nations.

In the media recently, there has been a considerable amount of attention focusing on protests in Cuba over vaccine shortages and economic problems exacerbated by Covid, which — if we’re being honest — also has a lot to do with the fact that the United States has reimplemented sanctions against the nation under the Trump administration that Biden has yet to lift. Of course, like clockwork the United States has not missed the opportunity to weigh in, and rhetorically encourage the continued protests against the regime they would like to see toppled. Joe Biden himself weighed in, calling Cuba a “failed state” and Communism a “universally failed system”.

Considering what’s going on right here within our borders, is the United States really in any position to judge?

I mean, you almost have to admire Joe Biden’s sheer nerve when we remember the fact that there are seven year olds right here in the United States, the richest nation on earth, selling lemonade to pay for their brain surgery. Oh and of course, who can forget the 89 year old pizza delivery man who’s delivering pizzas during a pandemic because he cannot afford to…
