Bernie Sanders Was Always Going to Endorse Joe Biden.

Why are people surprised he’s vouching for him?

Ah, Bernie Sanders…

There’s a piece of me that will always wonder what could have been if he had gotten through the Democratic primary process. I am absolutely convinced he would have won the Presidency just based on poll numbers alone, and it’s almost depressing to think about what that could have looked like. Nevertheless, he continues to remain steadfast in his advocacy for the issues that got him on the national radar in the first place, namely workers rights and of course, Medicare for All.

Now, with Biden running for reelection, Bernie Sanders finds himself once again essentially campaigning for his recent primary opponent, coming to his defense after criticism from Dr. Cornel West.

Kelly Garrity with Politico writes:
