Bernie Sanders is Right. Democrats Have Turned Their Backs Against the American People.

At this point, it’s undeniable.

While Democratic politicians in Washington D.C. plot their new fundraising campaigns after Donald Trump’s crushing spending bill was passed with little push back and opposition, Bernie Sanders has been traveling around the country speaking to the American people.

Will Hofmann with Citizen Times writes:

“In a speech to over 3,600, Sen. Bernie Sanders called for an Asheville crowd to fight against concentrations of power and wealth and President Donald Trump’s agenda while describing the Democratic Party as having “turned its back on the working class.”

In his first visit to the city since 2019, Sanders’s Asheville speech capped off an early August portion of his “Fighting Oligarchy” tour, which launched in February and has seen high profile visits from other progressive lawmakers like New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. From Aug. 8–10, Sanders spent time in the mountains of West Virginia and North Carolina, making a stop in Greensboro before arriving in Asheville…”

It might just be me, but at this point any time I see Bernie Sanders in a headline like this it just makes me deeply, deeply sad.
