Ben Shapiro Doesn’t Think You Should Be Able to Retire at All. Ever.

Because of course that’s how he feels.

When people tell you who they are, believe them.

Obviously, that sentiment remains true when it comes to the right wing political and pundit class, who every once in a while like to give us glimpses of their true intentions and beliefs. Well, the latest to fall into that bucket — and not for the first time — is none other than Ben Shapiro, who decided to share his real thoughts on retirement.

On his show, Shapiro said:

“No one in the United States should be retiring at 65 years old. Frankly, I think retirement itself is a stupid idea unless you have some sort of health problem.”

Retirement…a stupid idea?

I can’t even begin having the nerve to suggest something so grossly out of touch. Who is Shapiro, with his multi millions, to sit there and tell the American people that retirement is a stupid idea and they shouldn’t have the right to ever leave the work force?

Retirement is a privilege that should be a right for every single person in this country. No one should have to work until their dying days, pouring…
