As the Biden administration comes to an end and President-elect Donald Trump prepares to tak eoffice for the second time, things are beginning to move swiftly as the transition of power takes place. It’s a matter of weeks now, and much of the country, like myself, finds themselves preparing for what’s to come. Needless to say we’ve had some glimpses and hints here and there aside from four years of precedent, and I suppose with all of that being said it should come as no surprise that Donald Trump has vowed to pardon the people who took part in the infamous riot on January 6th, 2021.

It feels like an eternity ago really, and it’s just one of many stains on this country that will live on through the pages of the history books. Of course, it continues to be the focus of the attention for the right wing and one of the many means by which Trump aligned politicians have chosen to galvanize their supporters. This is just the natural next step.

Hanna Panreck with FOX News writes:

“President-elect Donald Trump told NBC’s Kristen Welker on Sunday that he wanted to pardon the Jan. 6 rioters on the first day of his administration and said people on the Jan. 6 committee in Congress belonged in jail.
