Are Republicans Really Going to Impeach Joe Biden?

They love to waste our time and money.

The threats of impeachment have certainly been there since before Joe Biden was even elected President, haven’t they? For years now, the GOP has been talking about it proudly in front of the cameras, and some lawmakers like Marjorie Greene have even announced articles of impeachment back in May. But of course, it should come as no surprise that the talks are ramping up once again, with congressman James Comer going on Newsmax to tell the audience that Speaker McCarthy may be on board.

According to Comer, they talked about “steps moving forward”.

So, which is it? Is it all talk, or are Republicans actually planning at this very moment to organize an impeachment of President Biden?

No. At least right now, McCarthy is not going to move forward with the impeachment of Biden and Comer, Greene, Boebert and all others who have gleefully called ofr it know this. But clearly, McCarthy is flirting with the idea for the camera’s sake. I can guarantee Comer would not have made those comments without his say so and frankly, I have never been more convinced that at least for the time being, this is all nothing more than a stunt.
