Are Democrats Looking to “Install” Kamala Harris as President?
I think it’s a little more complex than that.
Among all of our politicians at least within the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris is certainly among one of the more polarizing figures. There’s no denying she has her fanbase, who make their presence on social media known and have admittedly come to be universally despised by those of us on the left. For those on the left and even people who had no particularly strong feelings towards Harris either way, it’s been interesting to see how perception has changed since her ascension to the position of Vice President.
She hasn’t done herself any favors, has she?
Kamala Harris has just looked lost. There’s no denying it. For someone who the donor class and her fellow lawmakers had such high aspirations for, it’s been fascinating to watch her struggle so often during public events and giving speeches in particular. Now of course, it should come as no surprise that the right wing is now thoroughly convinced that she’s only going to be on the VP ticket for Biden because he’s running again to get her installed as President.
